South Bengaluru has some of the city’s oldest homes and some of its newest apartments, often on the same street. Older houses in Jayanagar and Basavanagudi tend to have high ceilings and large rooms that suit carved teak; newer flats along Kanakapura Road and Bannerghatta Road need pieces sized carefully for compact rooms. Here’s how to shop for teak furniture locally.

See it close to home

Our showroom is near Kanakapura Main Road in J. P. Nagar, at Metro Pillar No. 69. It’s a short drive from Jayanagar, Banashankari, Padmanabhanagar, Uttarahalli, Konanakunte, Puttenahalli and BTM Layout. Our factory is further down the same road at Thalagattapura, so much of South Bengaluru is within easy reach of both.

Older homes: go for presence

Independent houses in Jayanagar, Basavanagudi and Banashankari often have rooms that can take a statement piece: a four-poster bed, a carved sofa set, or a traditional oonjal in the hall. If you’re replacing old furniture, solid teak continues the look most of these homes were built around.

Newer apartments: size with care

Flats in J. P. Nagar 7th and 8th Phase, Kanakapura Road and Bannerghatta Road usually have smaller bedrooms and narrower lifts. Here, a made-to-order piece helps: we can trim the depth of an almirah, make a cot to the exact width between two walls, or choose a swing with its own stand if the ceiling can’t take a hook. Large pieces are delivered in sections and assembled in your room.

Delivery and installation are free anywhere in Bengaluru, up to the first floor. Our team brings the piece from the factory on Kanakapura Road, assembles it and places it where you want it.
